My Daughter And I Wrote A Children’s Book

About this project

Mileena has always wanted to be a police officer, or as she says it, “A Police”. Since the day she was adopted (not long after her 3rd birthday) she has talked about riding police motorcycles, righting wrongs, and throwing perps in the slammer.

Her dream, not yet able to become reality, has finally taken shape in the book she co-authored with her father, Christian Lee. Joined by renowned artist Jamie Cosley (Star Wars,Cody the Cavalier, Zucchini) they have created a fun and smart book series for kids and parents.

We anticipate getting the Thank-you cards out by Christmas. If you purchase the $12 Good Character Button Set, or $15 Signed Poster, we anticipate these will also make it to you by Christmas, barring any printing or holiday shipping snafus. This shouldn’t be a problem given a reliable custom book printing service has been located.

Mileena is eight years old and currently excelling in 3rd grade. She enjoys skateboarding, talking non-stop, and all things Police. She was adopted along with her brother when they were three and eight respectively.

Christian Lee traveled many years as a stand-up comedian before he decided to trade in the nightlife for a life with two kids…. which quickly became FOUR! You can find him online writing about parenting at PlaidDadBlog.com, podcasting with his ten year old son atWhatAreWeWatching.com, or sewing things (and often failing) at DadSews.com.

He is busy working on several projects and is open to working with new Clients. Check him out at:JamieCosley.com.
