80s Voltron VS Netflix’s Voltron

In our Retro VS Contemporary showdown: 80s Voltron VS 2010s Voltron.

This week we were challenged by Chris Lewis of DadOfDivas.com and DadSpotlight.com to watch the Original Voltron VS Netflix Voltron Legendary Defender.

Synopsis:
Evil forces threaten to take over the universe, and Voltron is needed once more. Five space explorers set out to find and recover the legendary Voltron (and succeed within the first couple of episodes). After that, it was a weekly event for King Zarkon to send a horrible Robeast (robotic monster, so it was okay to cut it up on 80’s television, like the robotic footsoldiers on Ninja Turtles) to try and take over, while the five main characters jump into their incredible giant robotic lions, then merge them together to form Voltron.

What do you think is the new Voltron better than the original? What about robots with boobs? Is that Voltron’s weakness?
